The Plymouth Santa Fun Run "SFR" is organised by the Rotary Club of Saltram (Plympton) Charity Registration 1061844 "The Organisers".
The Organisers make every effort to ensure the SFR is safe for entrants, Organisers, spectators and users of the public footpaths. The Organisers closely collaborate beforehand with the Plymouth City Council “PCC” and Police. However, The Organisers and PCC have no liability for any injury, loss or damage to property arising in any way from the SFR.
Whilst marshals will be on duty, joining the SFR does not confer any special rights on entrants. Entrants must comply with marshals’ instructions and be aware of pedestrians at all times.
Children under the age of 18 participate in the SFR only with the permission of their parent or guardian, regardless of whether The Organisers have actually received such permission; and parents or guardians will be held responsible by The Organisers for the safe conduct and behaviour of the child during the event. To assist with their responsibilities, parents or guardians are required to run with children of 12 and under.
Acceptance into the SFR does not confer any special right on an entrant. The Organisers reserve the right not to accept an entry or to withdraw any entrant from the SFR without reason.
Should the SFR not take place for whatever reason, entrants will not be entitled to a refund.
In the course of organising the SFR, The Organisers collect personal information in either written or electronic format relating to entrants. Such information will not be sold or given to third parties, but The Organisers reserve the right to use this information for promoting future events they may organise.
In applying to enter the SFR, applicants warrant that they believe they are fit and able to complete the course and accept entry is at their own risk.
